Derby RFC

Match Report
Derby U13s played ten-a-side to match Ashfield's available numbers and recorded a 35-0
away win in their NLD match. Seven different players scored before the score cap ended
the competitive game after around 20 minutes. Both sides then continued as an
unrecorded friendly.

NLD Match

into the corner.
Joe M was involved again for the next try, drawing a defender to create the opportunity
for captain Joe K to score. Charlie H then finished a good passage of 'cheetah ball' in the
corner for Derby's fourth.
Jack B, Laurence B and Jacob M started on the bench alongside Jack L, Jack J and
Charlie Br. All six came on, with Zora M, Freddie S, Ben A, Charlie B, Joe K and Charlie
H coming off. Jack J made ground on a carry, before Lee C scored Derby's fifth with a
great kick return.
Jacob M followed a switch move with a run up the left wing for the sixth try. Logan R then
crossed for the seventh, taking Derby to the score cap and bringing the recorded NLD
match to a close.
NLD result: Derby 35 - 0 Ashfield

Friendly Play
The lads continued playing for the remainder of the time as a friendly. Logan R, Joe M

sportsmanship. This part of the game was not recorded and does not form part of the
35-0 NLD result.
